Tony Johnston leaves Leasedrive Velo
Tony Johnston, formerly chief operating officer, has left Leasedrive Velo with immediate effect.
Operational responsibilities will now be taken over by chief financial officer, David Bird, who previously held the role of chief operating officer at Leasedrive. Key business relationships with VELO customers had already been assumed by commercial director, Roddy Graham, following the merger of Leasedrive and VELO on 2 January 2007.
Chief executive officer, Roger Partridge commented: "When David was chief operating officer at Leasedrive, he was responsible for introducing Drive:Manager, our industry-leading totally integrated online fleet management system which has set new benchmark standards for operational and customer service quality in the industry. His financial acumen has proven invaluable during the integration of our two businesses.
"The status of integration between our two businesses is progressing very well and is currently ahead of plan. All VELO employees have now completed the move to our headquarters at TRL in Wokingham. Migration of VELO customers to our Drive:Manager state-of-the-art fleet management system has commenced with the aim to have all customers integrated before the end of the year.

We are already winning important new business as a result of the merger."
