Leasedrive Wins Major Somerfield Contract

Leasedrive Group, one of the largest independent privately-owned vehicle management groups in the UK, has won the tender to provide a complete fleet management service to the Somerfield Group.
Commercial director, Roddy Graham said: "We are delighted to have won this major new contract following a tender process in which we were chosen over 22 other fleet suppliers.
"The contract covers 1,400 vehicles including 400 refrigerated home delivery vans. In addition, some 300 drivers have opted out of their company car. These drivers will be looked after through our Responsibility business management service."

The new fleet management contract includes client policy advice, vehicle acquisition, vehicle disposal, vehicle maintenance management, Responsibility driver management, roadside assistance, accident management and short-term vehicle rental.
The Somerfield Group incorporates the Somerfield and Kwik Save supermarket brands, which together operate over 1,200 stores nationwide.
