Leasedrive Velo wins a Buying Solutions framework agreement
Following a comprehensive online tender process, the Leasedrive Velo Group, one of the UK's largest independent privately-owned vehicle management groups, has won one of five fleet management services framework agreements for general fleet management services awarded by Buying Solutions, the national procurement partner for UK public services. The agreement is effective from 2 November 2009 and is for an initial two-year period with the potential to extend for a further two years.
Roddy Graham, commercial director, at the Leasedrive Velo Group said: "Effectively, the framework agreement for general fleet management services means that any government department looking to outsource its fleet management requirement knows that we have been pre-approved by Buying Solutions. It gives our vehicle management division a head start in any future discussions. Similarly, any government department wishing to appoint us over the next two years can comfortably do so in the knowledge that we have been pre-approved. This agreement should help us build on the long standing public sector customer base of our rental management division."
