Leasedrive Velo Group, one of the UK's largest independent privately-owned vehicle management groups, has launched a fully-automated secure new online business and private mileage capture and reporting solution, Mileage:Manager, linked to fuel card invoices and cash receipts. Operating either as a standalone mileage capture product or as part of the suite of solutions on offer under the group's multi-award winning totally-integrated online fleet management system, Drive:Manager, it seamlessly integrates with a customer's payroll and expense management system to deliver many benefits and savings to an organisation and its employees. Mileage:Manager has been developed for and is already being successfully used by a number of the group's blue chip customers.

Mileage:Manager then interfaces with the customer's payroll and expense system and the transaction is complete. It also supports cash refuelling, with drivers reimbursed for any cash expense through payroll. Mileage:Manager can also extract this information to produce accurate P11D benefits and P46 car form returns for best compliance practice, delivering an end-to-end fully automated and integrated solution, with customers enjoying significant resource savings."
Mileage:Manager is an important new tool for any professional fleet manager looking to save money, reduce administration and effectively audit the mileage capture process to more effectively manage their vehicle fleet. Key benefits include substantial cost and resource savings compared to traditional paper-based systems, reduced administration supported by 'push' and 'pull' reporting, full integration with back office fleet and payroll systems, automated authorisation processing, automated e-mail reporting highlighting non-compliant drivers and an accurate reporting tool to reduce fraudulent mileage claims.
For drivers, the main benefits are that Mileage:Manager is quicker, more efficient and easier to use than paper-based submissions. The log-in process recognises individual driver's specific vehicle details and allows access to a detailed history of past business and private mileage returns. Drivers can even submit mileage returns for multiple vehicles and are reminded by e-mail and SMS alerts of outstanding mileage returns.
