The essential characteristic of Fleet Management is that it involves the management of assets and records, creation and management of a quality supplier support network and the processing of transactions and vehicle related events on behalf of the client. Usually the client will fund the asset, either directly or via a third party provider.

In summary the aim of Fleet Management is to provide cost and operationally effective mobility-related solutions for owner-driver organisations and their employees.

The business is completely transparent and operates a total and open disclosure policy as far as its income streams are concerned. Our Fleet Management revenue is derived in its entirety from our monthly management fees. Any indirect income such as rebates, are declared and either returned or offset against the management fees. This enables our business to act purely in the interests of the client from both a service and financial perspective. We believe total and open disclosure to be unique in our industry. At the heart of Leasedrive Velo is ALFA, an industry leading asset finance and management system. The system has been developed by CHP Consulting and provides a robust finance and billing platform along with an integrated workflow management capability. The ALFA system is complimented by a web based front-end, developed by epyx providing integrated vehicle procurement, ordering, policy management, service, maintenance and repair, records management and detailed management reporting.

This provides Fleet Managers with a desktop tool to assist them in the running of their fleet and drivers with the ability to compare and order vehicles, progress orders and book routine services. Drive:Manager™ is password protected and, as it is internet-based, it is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Detailed interactive management reporting is available utilising Info:Manager™.
