Stopgap Mid Term Vehicle Rental
Stopgap is Leasedrive Velo's corporate mid-term vehicle rental division and has been developed specifically to bridge the gap between daily rental and long term leasing. You can choose between Stopgap's 28 day or Stopgap Plus's 90 day minimum hire periods, both of which provide you with substantially reduced rates when compared to hiring vehicles from a daily rental company for the same length of time. Stopgap has a wide range of current models to choose from ranging from small cars and estates through to MPVs and commercial vehicles.
Once the 28 day or 90 day minimum hire period is up the vehicle can be kept on-hire at the same low rate or off-hired at a days notice so there are no long-term contracts involved. Stopgap vehicles are ideal for various situations including:
- Waiting period for a new vehicle purchase to be delivered.
- A new employee requiring a car during their probationary period.
- A temporary sales team or contractor who requires a vehicle.

The Leasedrive Velo call centre houses a state of the art computerised reservation system that is integrated with our suppliers to allow efficient and accurate bookings in real time.
Rental:Manager™ is Leasedrive Velo's user-friendly online booking facility that is customised for each and every customer, depending on their specific rental authorisation requirements. The easy to use website manages all of the information required for you to make a booking, including contact details, delivery times and location, collection times and location plus additional information specific to your company's rental requirements. Where specific locations for rentals are used on a regular basis, Rental:Manager™ will provide the address details as drop down fields, to make the "form filling" exercise quick and easy. A series of monitors check and audit the process online to ensure that rentals are not missed.
Rental:Manager™ also has its own internal Oracle reporting technology that allows customers to gain secure online access to invoice and account details once the rental has been made, including P11D and EU 4th directive information, via a live link to Leasedrive Velo's in-house customer database 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
